Springtails are detritivores, which are animals that feed on dead organic material, especially
plant detritus. This makes them essential in naturalistic and bioactive setups as part of the
clean-up crew.
Woolly Mammoth springtails are very large. They can be used in a moderate humidity
environment alongside other springtails such as Lepidocyrtus sp. and Arrhopalites caecus.
They are not a great standalone clean-up crew.
Woolly Mammoth springtails are cultured on soil with high ventilation.
Feed yeast, or Springtails US springtail food mixes.
