Isopods are detritivores, which are animals that feed on dead organic material, especially plant
detritus. This makes them essential in naturalistic and bioactive setups as part of the clean-up
crew.

Porcellio scaber is an excellent choice for beginner keepers and bio-active enclosures. They tolerate a range of environments and come in more color morphs than any other isopod. Orange Dalmatian is the orange spotted version of the classic dark spotted Dalmatian morph. Some individuals present a lot of colored patterning while others are nearly completely white.
