Springtails are detritivores, which are animals that feed on dead organic material, especially
plant detritus. This makes them essential in naturalistic and bioactive setups as part of the
clean-up crew.
New Lepidocyrtus springtails are faster producing then Pearlescent springtails, they do best in
moderate to high humidity environments, alongside other springtails that aren’t fast breeding.
New Lepidocyrtus springtails can be cultured on springtail clay, plaster, and soil. Springtail clay
is the easiest to harvest from.
Feed yeast, dry rice, or Springtails US springtail food mixes.
