Springtails are detritivores, which are animals that feed on dead organic material, especially
plant detritus. This makes them essential in naturalistic and bioactive setups as part of the
clean-up crew.

Bylas ant springtails are incredibly fast breeding and thrive in most environments, even roaming
onto dry land. They also make a great feeder for smaller animals such as dart frogs.

Bylas ant springtails can be cultured on any medium successfully, such as springtail clay,
charcoal, plaster, and soil. Springtail clay is the easiest to harvest from.

Feed yeast, dry rice, fish flakes, or Springtails US springtail food mixes.
